Learn how to use University learning systems with our online training modules and interactive tutorials

Our online staff training modules provide you with the opportunity to develop your understanding of available tools and improve your students’ experience with recommended settings.

The following self-paced training modules available:

MyBeckett Ultra:

  • Getting Started - Learn to navigate and create content in a MyBeckett Ultra module
  • Course Administrators - the essentials you need to know for administrators
  • Communication and Collaboration - Learn how to use MyBeckett Ultra tools to communicate effectively with students and encourage collaborative working within modules

Turnitin

  • Turnitin: Assignment Set up and Submission - Learn how to set up a Turnitin assignment using recommended assignment settings
  • Turnitin: Online Marking and Feedback - Learn how to provide online marks and feedback on Turnitin assignments using Feedback Studio
  • Turnitin Authorship - Get started with Turnitin Authorship for investigators

PebblePad

  • PebblePad: An Introduction - Learn how PebblePad can be used for different types of assessment and gain an understanding of the built-in tools available for creating and sharing content

1. In MyBeckett, click the Communities link and find the All Staff Community.

2. Click the link Enrolment Tools and then LBU Self Enrol link (this opens in a new tab).

3. Under the heading Enrol on a Training Module, click the button to Search Training Modules to select the modules you want to learn about. Close the tab when finished.

4. From the main menu in MyBeckett, go to Modules, the training modules are at the bottom of your list (you will be enrolled as a student).
