The new report is the first of its kind to explore the relationship between coaching, wellbeing and leadership effectiveness amongst senior school leaders. Researchers evaluated a year-long project by Integrity Coaching that provided one-to-one support for heads.

They found the coaching programme helped heads cope with their increasingly demanding roles, which were having a significant effect on their wellbeing, work-life balance and capacity to drive school improvement.
