Our students come from a wide range of backgrounds, for many of them access to higher education is a huge financial barrier for them to overcome. In the last three years alone support from our donors has helped more than 50 students to succeed in their studies and careers, make the most of their time at Leeds Beckett, and have an amazing student experience.

This year three groups of graduates have created new scholarships to help students access the same amazing experience that they had. These new scholarships are funded by graduates from the Carnegie School of Physical Education class of 1977, the Carnegie School of Physical Education class of 1982, and the ‘Poly Ollies’ (pictured above) who were the first Leeds Polytechnic rugby team to play and beat the University of Leeds.
