The famous pub crawl consists of 16 venues starting in Headingley and finishing in Leeds City Centre if you manage to make it that far!

Here are the top 8 reasons you need to get involved:

Fancy dress

Dressing up is one of the highlights. Pick a theme for a group of you! On a normal day, walking around dressed up would be quite weird, but here you'll fit right in. Actually the wackier, the better!

Cheap drinks

It can be a lot cheaper than a Saturday night out depending on what you drink and how long you last - but if you stick to pints of beer you can't really go wrong.

Challenge yourself!

Not usually the pub crawl kind of person? Well, set yourself a target. Try your best to make it to Dry Dock, or as far as you possibly can. Come on, you can't let yourself down!

Make memories

When it's all over you will have some brilliant memories to look back on. Every time you and your mates get together you can laugh about everything you got up to. You'll never forget the Otley Run!

Great photos

Alongside those memories, make sure you take plenty of photos. Whether it's selfies, group pictures or pictures of your best mate falling over, they will all be great to look back at and reminisce.

Make new friends

There will be loads of other students doing the Run so use your fancy dress as a conversation starter, branch out of your friendship group and talk to new people. Before you know it you will have made some new mates!

Become an expert

You'll no longer have to worry about where to go for a drink because you'll know all the best places to go. That is vital information to have because finding a good beer garden in summer is crucial!

A good laugh

The Otley Run is perfect if there's a group of you who constantly get split up on a night out. It's one of the best ways to spend a day during your time at university! You'll have a great day/night and have plenty to laugh about for a long time after.

Have fun and good luck lasting until the last bar!
