The new home for Carnegie School of Education
I'm delighted to announce the new home for Carnegie School of Education will open to students in September 2024. This new building will provide high quality teaching and research facilities for all our staff and students.
Through careful consultation, Caedmon Hall has been refurbished to create a sustainable, inclusive, and accessible environment for our education community. Here, students and staff can learn, research, and collaborate in spaces designed to help them achieve their best.
Supporting the education community
Our new home will help improve the lives of children, young people, lifelong learners, and families by providing a cutting-edge environment to develop exceptional, socially aware, and responsible members of the children’s and education workforce.
The new space will inspire students and staff to develop agile solutions to social issues that can be delivered through the educational workforce, through flexible and collaborative workspaces.
Our new home will become a base for educators in the region, to build meaningful partnerships for the benefit of children, young people and families everywhere.
