£3,181.28 Raised for Charity

Staff from our food teams have been busy coming up with ideas to raise money for important charities including Children in Need, Cancer Research UK and The Movember Foundation.

Customers and staff got involved for Children in Need and took part in tombolas, cake stalls, nearly new stalls and competitions which all raised a whopping £2,145.

Our Coffee Shops sold special Movember and Red Nose Day cupcakes, baked specially by our local suppliers Artisan Bakery who are based in Wakefield, 25p from each cupcake was donated to The Movember Foundation and Comic Relief which totalled £95.

Staff were busy supporting Cancer Research UK on Wear It Pink day, looking fantastic in pink fancy dress and selling pink cakes we raised an impressive £540.55 thanks to customer donations.

Finally, across our outlets at the till we collect loose change in our charity tins which is then donated to a range of local and national charities. In recent months we have raised £226.86 for the Jane Tomlinson Appeal and over £400 for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
