Four students from the Leeds School of Architecture have been shortlisted for the prestigious British Council Venice Biennale Fellowship.

Peter Morrison, Molly Baker, Linda Gravante, and Nadia Luhar

Congratulations to our students Molly Baker, Linda Gravante, Peter Morrison (BA (Hons) Architecture, 2nd year) and Nadia Luhar (MArch Architecture) from the Leeds School of Architecture that have been shortlisted for the prestigious British Council Venice Biennale Fellowship!

The British Council will now select two of our four shortlisted students, giving them the great chance to enjoy one month to live, research and steward in Venice, during the Architecture Biennale 2020. Students will share their time in Venice between invigilating the British Pavilion exhibition, curated this year by Manijeh Verghese and Madeleine Kessler, and conducting a short independent research project.

A special thanks to our partner, the West Yorkshire Society of Architects that is helping us to provide our students this amazing opportunity.

“All Students are to be congratulated on submitting an earnest Application of interest and rigour within a tight timeframe, and commended on the evident courage to step beyond what may be their respective comfort zones.” Gerard Bareham, WYSA.
