Postgraduate Landscape Architecture: Model Making
MA Landscape Architecture students took part in a one day model making workshop in the Postgraduate studio.
As students move their Major Design projects from concept stage towards master plans we held a one-day session exploring an aspect of their site in three dimensions.
We encouraged the group to make working models that could be manipulated and changed to explore design options. Students (and tutors) found the process revealed a new understanding of the individual sites and as hoped, demonstrated the value of working models as tools to explore and convey potential design solutions.
