RIBA Future Architects on the Coronavirus Crisis

Leeds Beckett University architecture lecturer Craig Stott contributes to the RIBA Future Architects series with a YouTube video reflecting on the current pandemic situation.

In these times of uncertainty RIBA Future Architects have launched a series of webinars, online help and YouTube videos discussing Coronavirus and what this means for students of architecture, especially those soon to graduate.

Leeds School of Architecture Senior Lecturer Craig Stott has contributed a video providing a strategic view on the impact of the pandemic for students of architecture and encouraging students to take this opportunity to ‘Think Big!’ with a range of ideas including diversifying your skillset, generating your own work, becoming an expert in a chosen area such as addressing the climate emergency, and visiting terrific pieces of architecture to continually expand your horizons.

RIBA Future Architects is a network and a community for future and emerging architects, designed to support, inspire and provide a voice as you transition from study to practice. With more information here.

The YouTube playlist features videos relevant to students and early career professionals at different stages of their education. Find inspiring and creative content, industry knowledge, skills support, and hear from practices, professionals, and others taking the first steps in their architecture career.
