New Interior Architecture and Design Course Director appointed

We are delighted to announce that Lara Rettondini has recently started at Leeds School of Arts as Course Director for BA (Hons) Interior Architecture and Design.

Lara joins after working at the University of Westminster, most recently as Course Leader for the MA Interior Architecture programme, and previously at the University for the Creative Arts, where she was Course Leader for the BA Interior Architecture and Design course.

In addition to her teaching and leadership experience across undergraduate and postgraduate levels, Lara brings expertise from architecture and interior practice, having worked for more than 20 years in design consultancy and project management, and since 2000 co-directing Studio X Design Group.

Lara complements her academic and professional practice with research, presently undertaking her PhD in the Centre for Research in Modern European Philosophy (CRMEP) at Kingston University.

Joan Love

Senior Lecturer / Leeds School Of Arts

Joan Love is a senior lecturer and an artist who has experience of interior design in architectural practice. Her research explores autism-friendly design containing a special interest in spatial transitioning environments.
