Engineering Alumnus Joins Us For Guest Lecture

It is always nice to see alumni returning back to the university to help educate and inform our currently masters students.

Bradley Mellor was a student on our BSc Manufacturing Systems Engineering course, some 20 years ago. Since then he has had a successful career within the food industry, implementing lean and agile engineering. Brad gave a talk to our current MSc Advanced Engineering Management students on the practical issues of implementing lean and agile approaches to the food industry and walking students through a real world problem he was involved with at Haribo.

We really appreciate when our alumni take the time to give back and share there knowledge and expertise and it's a great opportunity for our students to hear about how their course applies in real-life situations, gain an insight into different paths they could take in the future and build their professional network.
