What are the five best things about studying in Leeds?

  1. Engaging with so many international students
  2. Encouraging culture from all around the world
  3. Substantial support from the university
  4. A lot of social events
  5. Very student-friendly city

Have you been involved in any social activities?

I have attended quite a few events and been a part of societies at Leeds Beckett. It is a great way to meet new people and feel more involved with the university. There are events every week and they are great stress busters.

What are your plans for the future?

As I have studied International Business and Management, I would like to explore opportunities in that field. Being a Global Engagement Officer,  is definitely the first step on my career ladder. The modules I learned on my course helped me enhance my knowledge and improve my skills academically and non-academically.

What advice would you give to someone from your country?

Get involved with the Global Village and Student Union events as much as possible, you will potentially meet people from your country, and it will make you feel at home. Make Google Scholar and the library your good friend and use your spare time productively.
