Hello everyone, my name is Linh Dan and today I am going to share how we celebrate Halloween in Vietnam.
Halloween, a mysterious festival of the West, has been spreading throughout Vietnam, bringing a fresh and exciting breeze. Although it is a new occasion in the S-shaped land, Halloween has quickly captured the hearts of many Vietnamese people, especially the young. This festival is not simply about spooky costumes, but also an opportunity to ignite creativity and connect with family and friends, creating warm and memorable memories every autumn. Let's explore the exciting journey of Halloween in Vietnam through four outstanding activities!
Store Decoration: Creating a Space Full of Halloween Spirit
At my small stationery store, in the heart of the ancient city of Hanoi, Halloween is the time when everything becomes more vibrant than ever. My staff and I enthusiastically decorated the store with bright orange and black “Happy Halloween” banners, sparkling pumpkins and cute little spooky decorations. Every corner of the store has its own unique mark, as if taking customers into the magical world of ghost stories. Customers not only experience the creative space but also feel the joyful and bustling festival atmosphere. The feeling of decorating together not only makes the store more splendid but also strengthens the camaraderie among the staff, creating unforgettable memories.
Handicrafts: Creating Creative Halloween Cards
In addition to decorating, the store also organizes art and craft workshops for students from 10 to 15 years old. With careful preparation of materials such as colored paper, drawing pens and decorative stickers, students can make beautiful Halloween cards by themselves. The images of pumpkins, spider webs and the words “Trick or Treat” appear creative and funny. These cards are not only the children’s creative products, but also lovely gifts for friends and relatives. The joy of the children when completing their products is a priceless spiritual gift that we always cherish. There are two girls who have been attached to the store through many courses and are living proof of the development and creativity through each Halloween season.
Dressing Up and Taking Photos: A Moment Full of Memories
It is impossible not to mention the dressing up activity – the soul of Halloween. We and our friends transformed into spooky characters such as vampires, witches, or cute characters such as pumpkins and black cats. The bustling and fun atmosphere filled the air as everyone laughed and expressed their personalities through unique costumes. After finishing, the whole group took souvenir photos together in a space decorated with typical Halloween decorations. These photos not only capture memorable moments but also serve as a way for us to bond and create beautiful memories together during this spooky holiday season.

Halloween is not only an occasion for dressing up and having fun, but also an opportunity to find special gifts. Our store offers a wide range of Halloween-inspired products, from spooky mugs, scented candles with a mysterious festive flavor, to decorative pillows printed with pumpkins or mischievous black cats. These gifts not only create a Halloween atmosphere in every family but are also perfect gifts to give to relatives and friends, helping everyone have more joy and warm moments during the holiday season.
