LEEDS SCHOOL OF ARTS BUILDING

The brand-new state-of-the-art £80million Leeds School of Arts building features a wealth of outstanding specialist facilities across Creative Technologies, Fashion Marketing, Film, Music & Sound, and Performing Arts. These include:

• 180-seat performance theatre
• 220-seat cinema
• Industry standard film and green screen studios
• Black box theatre
• Foley studios
• Dubbing and music recording studios, acoustic labs and numerous post-production suites

Portland and Calverley building

Over the road from the Rose Bowl you’ll find specialist teaching facilities designed to bring your learning to life, including:

• £1m clinical skills suite packed with modern equipment that gives you hands-on practical experience
• Biomedical and environmental laboratories
• Hydra Control Room
• Trading floor
• Mock courtroom
• Law clinic and social learning spaces

Gym

Our City Campus gym includes:

We also have indoor and outdoor sports facilities, including; gyms, sport halls and courts, tracks/pitches, sport suites and a swimming pool located on Headingley Campus.

Gateway and the Library

The Gateway service offers 1-1 careers support and advice and our Sheila Silver Library has recently had a £250k makeover to give our students and staff a more effective and inspiring learning environment.

Broadcasting Place

Officially one of the world’s best tall buildings and a big talking point in Leeds. Home to our cultural studies and humanities courses, as well as some of our art, design, architecture and built environment courses, Broadcasting Place houses:

• 6 Floors of studios for 3D design, fashion, art, and architecture
• 4 Floors of studio and learning spaces for humanities, landscape architecture, product and interior design

Northern Terrace

Home to some of our built environment, engineering and construction courses, Northern Terrace facilities include:
