Advanced Neonatal Care - Intensive and High Dependency Care
Suitable for practitioners working within the specialty of neonatal care, the module has a strong clinical focus and is run in partnership with Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. The award content is based on National Standards for neonatal qualified in speciality (QiS) education (NHSE, 2024) and there is a requirement for supernumerary clinical practice hours to be undertaken to complete the module.

- Advance bioscience based knowledge of altered anatomy
- Physiology and the pathophysiology affecting infants within the ICU/HDS environment
- Develop advanced clinical-practical knowledge and skills, via planning and effective care through high quality assessment and intervention strategies within the ICU/HDU environment
