The course focuses on strengthening theoretical understanding and improving confidence in clinical decision-making when interpreting ECGs in practice. It will cover normal cardiac anatomy and physiology, conduction abnormalities, bundle branch blocks, tachyarrhythmias, acute coronary syndromes, amongst others.

The course will cover the fundamentals of ECG interpretation, including cardiac electrophysiology, systematic ECG analysis, and recognition of common arrhythmias and acute cardiac conditions. There will be a strong emphasis on interpreting a wide range of ECGs to support safe, autonomous practice.
