During this module, you'll learn practical strategies to enhance environmental protection in land use regulation, and how to plan for, mitigate and adapt to climate change in urban development. You'll be encouraged to critically reflect on theories of sustainability and environmental protection, emphasising the importance of access to nature and the countryside in urban and rural planning.
