The consumer goods industry is the biggest industry in the UK. The world’s biggest brands, the products we use every day. There are so many kinds of careers and jobs within the sector: Marketing, Sales, Analytics, Sustainability, Engineering, Law, the list goes on.
Sam will discuss his experiences over 20 years in business and the work his non-profit, Psalt does to bring young Black talent and ‘difference’ into the industry.

Sam Akinluyi is the Managing Director for Innocent Drinks (UK & Ireland) and Founding Partner at Psalt.
Sam is also an Executive Coach, Facilitator and Speaker who works with leaders, leadership teams and aspiring talent. He has worked with board/senior level executives across the Financial Services, Legal, Creative and Consumer Goods industries. He also supports several non-profit organisations and initiatives.
Sam has spent 20 years in the Consumer goods industry working for Nestlé, General Mills and Mars; where he led the Commercial Strategy department and was also the Grocery Sales Director for the UK. His functional experience is in strategy, commercial and organisational leadership.
