The Digital Journalism class of 2022 are pleased to present a collection of work from their time at Leeds Beckett University. Their exhibition, Unlocked, showcases diverse projects in various media from photography and videography to podcasts, all created by the students. The event will be opened with welcome speeches from members of the Unlocked team and followed by a showing of the 2022 course showreel and first screening of Cañada Real: In the Shadow of Madrid, a documentary made by Tom Charlesworth about the problems in Europe’s largest slum.
The exhibition showcases a collection of multimedia content that explores a variety of themes including fashion, music, dance, architecture, history and social affairs. There will be a mix of photography, video and audio content on display, with copies of the accompanying Unlocked 2022 magazine also available. Further examples of student work can also be viewed on the Unlocked website.
It means a lot for us to have the opportunity to celebrate and display our work in a physical environment. We appreciate everyone’s support for this event and hope you feel moved, motivated and inspired by the work on display.
