Free Midlife Health MOT: Physical Activity, Nutrition, and Healthy Ageing
Find out more about your health and how physical activity and nutrition can support your wellbeing during midlife and beyond.

As part of The Physiological Society - Physiology Week 2026, the Carnegie School of Sport at Leeds Beckett University is offering a free health and wellbeing event for midlife adults aged 35-65 years, interested in learning more about their health and how to exercise for long-term wellbeing

Participants will receive a personalised Health MOT, including measurements such as resting heart rate, blood pressure, body composition, strength, and cholesterol. You will also have the opportunity to discuss nutrition with our team and receive practical advice to support a healthier lifestyle.

The event will also include a practical strength training workshop and a session on understanding your results, and current physical activity recommendations. These activities will help you explore how physical activity can support health, fitness, and healthy ageing. Whether you are looking to improve your health, become more active, or simply learn more about your wellbeing, this free event offers evidence-informed guidance in a welcoming environment.

Students will support the delivery alongside experienced staff as part of their professional development.
