Human Factors and Applied Psychology Symposium | PsyCen
Leeds Beckett University's Psychology Applied to Safety and Health (PASH) research group and University of Aberdeen's Applied Psychology and Human Factors (APHF) research group will be holding a joint symposium showcasing their respective applied psychology research.

Academics, PhD researchers and associates will be presenting details of their projects which span various sectors, including mining, veterinary, healthcare, and aviation.

Special invited keynote speaker Professor Steven Yule from the University of Edinburgh who will close the event, sharing his research on surgical sabermetrics.

This event will be of interest to both academics and industrial professionals.

The Centre of Psychological Research (PsyCen), within the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, supports research projects dedicated to improving psychological wellbeing for different communities in conjunction with a range of external collaborators and funders.

The centre’s work showcases diverse methodologies, from psychometric and experimental designs to qualitative and critical psychology approaches, to advance knowledge across different branches of psychological science, from social and community psychology to cognitive neuroscience and biological psychology
