Cyril Villiers MBE was a leader and influential administrator in table tennis and sport. Having served as President of the Leeds Table Tennis League, in 1992 Cyril was appointed as Vice-President of the English Table Tennis Association and Vice-President of the English School's Table Tennis Association. Cyril was President of the Yorkshire Table Tennis Association between 2004-06 and 2008-18. Outside of table tennis, he was the Regional Director and Honorary Chief Executive of Sports Aid in Yorkshire and Humberside, as well as Regional Director for the Sports Council in Yorkshire and Humberside. Cyril was awarded an MBE in 2007 for his services to sport.
