Campus Pride launch
Led by the Students' Union and continuing throughout February, it will celebrate our commitment to LGBT equality and our pride in our staff and students.
Students and staff are welcome to come along to one of the Safe Spaces at the Student Union offices on Tuesday 7 February, 09:00-15:30 at Headingley Campus and at get a free cup of tea and a biscuit and relax. A Safe Space is a place where anyone can relax and be able to fully express, without fear of being made to feel uncomfortable, unwelcome, or unsafe on account of biological sex, race or ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, cultural background, religious affiliation, age, or physical or mental ability. All Students' Union spaces are safe spaces and their Safe Space policy can be viewed here.
Yorkshire MESMAC join us at Campus Pride offering free and confidential instant results HIV testing on campus. They are running a drop-in session in a private testing room at City Campus Students’ Union between 10:00-16:00. Gay, bisexual, men who have sex with men, Trans* and non-binary people welcome.
at where staff and students can meet representatives from a variety of local and regional LGBT organisations to include: Yorkshire MESMAC; Leeds Beckett SU Student Advice - Hate Crime Reporting Centre and members of the Rainbow Rose Forum.

Students can join the RAG Society from 11:00-14:00 at ; members will be on campus fundraising for Action for Trans Health, and help raise vital funds for many good causes.
