Big Bands or Big Experiences?
Festival experts from Boomtown, Walk the Plank, Just So Festival and Ramsbottom Music Festival will present at the panel event on Monday 14 March from 3pm to 5pm in James Graham G10, Headingley Campus.
The panel will be chaired by Dr Roxy Robinson, Senior Lecturer in Events Management at our University, and includes: Natalie Smith (Creative Production Manager, BoomTown Fair), Nathan Jackson (Head of Production at Walk the Plank and Arts Producer for Kendal Calling festival and Festival No. 6), Rowan Hoban (Director of Wild Rumpus, Just So Festival and the Northern Festival Network), and David Agnew (Creative Producer for Ramsbottom Music Festival and Homegrown Folk Festival).
Experts will be asked to discuss the trends and changes they have seen in their festivals over the past 10 years alongside the changes in the needs and wants of their varied target segments.
We have more than 220 volunteer places available for our students to work at Latitude and Leeds Festivals this summer. The closing date for applications is Friday 8 April.
