0618 How can we improve our exam support
As the Academic year winds to a close, we’d like to congratulate everyone who has survived the exam period. We hope that we were able to give you all the support you needed during that busy time.
To help with your revising and studying, we’ve offered:
- 24/7 access to the Sheila Silver and Headingley libraries
- Extra revision space plus information on busy areas and times
- A new ‘text us’ service if silent study was too noisy or help was needed finding a study space
- A motivational Spotify playlist, with songs chosen by you
- An improved student app that now includes water fountain locations
- Stress Less goodie bags hidden around the Libraries, Student Hubs and Gateway
- Free coffees for revising students
- Mindfulness colouring
- Free Pilates and Yoga sessions
- Students’ Union organised Stress Less events
- Extended support brought into the Libraries out of working hours from Student Services
- Student Services held various activities to promote Mental Health Awareness Week including a ‘Grow Your Own Potting Session’ and ‘Strawberries and Cream Drop’
And much, much more!
As we begin preparations for the start of the new academic year, we want to know what went well, what didn’t and your ideas about how we can better support you in the future. Please send any feedback to: studentnews@leedsbeckett.ac.uk
We hope the exam period wasn’t too stressful. Have a fantastic summer!
