Special journal marks Psych4Students lecture series
Dr Branney explained: “Psych4Students is a series of lectures run annually for A Level, Pre-tertiary and first year undergraduate students. Each lecture has five established psychologists chosen for their ability to communicate psychological science. The aim of the lectures is to give a broad view of the many areas of psychology. The events also have an exhibition zone where attendees can engage with interactive demonstrations, book stalls, careers advice and much more.”
The special issue has been put together to showcase these talks and make them accessible for those unable to attend.
As Chair, Dr Branney ensures that the lectures offer high calibre speakers and that they remain sell-out events of interest to psychology students.
The next Psych4Students will take place in Sheffield on Thursday 19 November, featuring Dr Fiona Fylan from our University’s School of Built Environment & Engineering, and in London on Tuesday 1 December.
