Professor elected as Director of the Board for EUPRERA
EUPRERA is a network with nearly 500 members from 40 countries where academics and professionals attract, convey, disseminate and create innovations in the field of strategic communication. An independent organisation aiming to stimulate and promote innovative knowledge and practices of strategic communication, organisational communication and public relations across Europe, EUPRERA was founded in 1959 and previously named CERP Education & Research.
Professor Tench, who will commence his two year term on the Board from January 2015, commented: “We as a university have had a long-standing relationship with EUPRERA and I have been the Head of the Scientific Committee for the last four years. I am delighted and honoured to be elected to this important position where I will continue to represent the University as well as all European and international members of the Association to continue developing the quality of education and research for the discipline across Europe.”
In order to spread new methodologies and research results, every year EUPRERA organises an annual congress held in collaboration with a selected university or college in Europe. The 2014 congress took place in Brussels, Belgium, from 11–13 and was hosted by the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL). Ralph has been the Head of the Scientific Committee for the annual congress for the past four years. The 2015 congress will be in Oslo.
