Experiments in Architecture
Leeds Beckett University hosts the three day International Conference on Competition this October, starting on Thursday 27 October.
Focusing on scrutinising and mapping the concept of experimentation within architecture competition, the event presents a number of keynote speakers from across the industry, a panel discussion with RIBA and UIA members and includes a trip to London. It will offer a window into current interdisciplinary research on the topic of architecture competitions.
Leeds Beckett’s links with architecture go back decades, with the Leeds School of Architecture having established itself in the early 1900s. It is based in the award-winning Broadcasting Place building, and offers a number of undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
