Leeds Beckett University appoints new Registrar and University Secretary
Michaela will join Leeds Beckett University on 1 April. She will be a member of University Executive Team and take responsibility for university governance, compliance, and registry services.
Michaela will join us from Sheffield Hallam University, where she has been University Secretary and Clerk to the Board of Governors since 2019.
Michaela began her career as a solicitor, and in 2009 joined the University of Huddersfield as Legal Officer. She became University Solicitor in 2012 and was appointed as the University Secretary in 2014.
Michaela holds an MBA from the University of Huddersfield, is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and is a graduate member of the Institute of the Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. She is also an elected member of the Association of Heads of University Administration Executive Committee.
