Academics present work at innovative performance festival
Juncture is a festival of contemporary movement, theatre and film work, presented by Yorkshire Dance, which was launched in 2012 and is being curated for 2014 by Wendy Houstoun. Events are taking place at Yorkshire Dance, the Riley Theatre, the Stanley and Audrey Burton Theatre, the Tetley and the Hyde Park Picture House, and include an array of performances, films, workshops and classes.
Amongst the performances will be MA Performance Course Leader, Oliver Bray, presenting his latest work, 'The Animal Was Upon Him'. Taking place on Friday 7 March, from 4.30pm, Oliver's work will be performed at Yorkshire Dance by himself and Hannah Butterfield.
On Sunday 9 March, from 11am to 1.30pm, also at Yorkshire Dance, BA (Hons) Dance Course Leader, Rachel Krische, and BA (Hons) Senior Lecturer, Alexander Kelly will join Wendy Houstoun, Terry O'Connor and Vivien Wood for an open discussion about documentation, entitled 'Memory, Archive and the Art of Recording'.
