Apprentice star to talk networking at Enterprise Academy
The Café Connect event, which is free and open to the public as well as staff and students, will be held in Broadcasting Place Room 301 on Wednesday 22 January from 10am-12pm, as part of the University's Futures Fest Employability fortnight.
Katie Rigarlsford, Head of Leeds Met's Enterprise Academy, said: "We are delighted to welcome Leon, who people will know from his TV appearances on The Apprentice and Dragon's Den. He is a highly successful entrepreneur and inspiring speaker and will be talking about his experiences of setting up various companies including his latest venture, Wifi Plugs, an innovative product where you can control your home from your mobile phone.
"Leon has based his business from QU2 for some time now and is highly supportive of enterprise activities at our University.
"The event is a great opportunity to network with QU2 members and other local entrepreneurs over coffee and cake."
