Branding guru Steve Edge set for Leeds Met
Founder of Steve Edge Design Ltd, which was established in 1982 and based in London's Shoreditch, Steve has worked with some of the country's greatest names, including Fortnum & Mason, Lock & Co Hatters, Skanska, Hamleys and Rules Restaurant.
During his lecture, which marks an annual link-up between Leeds Met and the IoD, Steve will focus on creativity and will look at the importance and power of marketing and how these strategies can serve to grow the business.
He said: "I am a big believer in finding your passion and was lucky enough to discover mine at an early age. I will be sharing the lessons I have learnt along the way and hope to inspire others to do what they love."

In addition he will draw on his own life, career and business experiences. Having been diagnosed with dyslexia at just four years old, Steve threw himself into his passion for art and design from an early age. With a love for old brands that he knows will deliver, Steve is known for his ability to inject them with a fresh lease of life, retaining what makes them great whilst bringing them up-to-date and extending their reach.
Paul Houghton, Principal Lecturer in Accounting and Finance at Leeds Met, commented: "Steve Edge Design Ltd is a business at the forefront of its field, and we could not be more delighted to be welcoming Steve - the founder and man behind its success and vision - to speak at Leeds Met. Steve's ambition and story is highly inspirational, and this will without a doubt be a must-not-miss session for anyone with an interest in design, branding, business and creativity."
