Distance learning boosted at Leeds Met with new director
Edmund joins the University from BPP Professional Education, where he is currently Chairman of BPP Learning Media and BPP International. Edmund trained to be a Chartered Accountant with Ernst and Whinney (now part of Ernst and Young), qualifying in 1986. After a spell at Reuters Holdings plc, he joined BPP Publishing as a technical author in 1989.
With the formation of BPP Learning Media in 2006, Edmund became Managing Director, and then Chairman. Edmund became Director of Group Strategy in February 2010. As Chairman of BPP International, Edmund has been responsible for BPP's international offices in Ireland, the Channel Isles, Malta and Central and Eastern Europe and China.

Edmund brings a wealth of experience within the field of distance learning and is looking forward to working with colleagues and sharing his expertise. Edmund is spending a day with colleagues in June and takes-up post in mid-July."
