Employability and Enterprise initiative launched
Employability and Enterprise Fortnight will run 14 - 25 January 2013 and over 250 sessions are on offer to all students, from CV writing and social media workshops, to certified first aid and leadership courses.
Professor Sally Glen, Deputy Vice Chancellor Student Experience, said: "It is vitally important in a competitive marketplace that our students are as well-equipped as possible to secure employment after leaving university and we know it is increasingly important to our students and prospective students. 9 out of 10 of our graduates are in work or further study six months after graduating, and we have an excellent track record of working with employers and embedding employability in our courses and we are keen to build on these strengths. We hope that students will make the most of the opportunities on offer to enhance their skills and their CV as part of Employability and Enterprise Fortnight."
Faculties and services around our university are supporting the event by offering workshop sessions.
