International Representatives' Conference - Your business is our business
The aim of the conference is to allow our international agents to experience a flavour of our academic offering and student experience, through meeting our staff and students and visiting our facilities and city, so they can better advise international students considering undertaking a course at our University.
Representatives from countries including Bangladesh, China, Cyprus, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia, Mauritius, India, Pakistan, Nepal, Kenya and Nigeria, were given an overview of our strategic direction by Deputy Vice Chancellor, Dr Paul Smith, and Director of our International Office, Andrew Disbury. Director of Marketing, Deborah Green, also highlighted areas of expertise and excellence, within our vibrant city region which supports a £52 billion economy and offers unique opportunities to our students and graduates.
Over the course of the week delegates will meet with faculty and services to students staff, tour our campuses and accommodation, take part in cultural social activities and take part in student and marketing forums, all of which is designed to help them to help us become internationally famous as a 'seat of learning.'
