Leeds Met scoop top marketing awards
The university scooped top accolades for best undergraduate prospectus and best CSR/Community/Business Campaign.
The prospectus was part of the 'it's amazing what you can do' campaign aimed at recruiting students for this September, with judges commenting that the prospectus was "an excellent, well researched prospectus with evidenced success".
The business campaign involved the development and re-launch of the university's QU2 services to business website, which has prompted a sharp rise in engagement from the business sector - a campaign described by judges as "well put together with outstanding results".
Leeds Met was also highly commended in the category for the best PR/advocacy campaign for its 'research with impact' PR campaign aimed at raising the profile of research both within and outside of the university.
Deborah Green, Director of Marketing at Leeds Metropolitan, said: "We are thrilled that our work has been recognised by sector experts in this way. The impact of all of the campaigns recognised at the Heist awards is clear to see and each of them exceeded against the objectives set."
Professor Paul Smith, Deputy Vice Chancellor, added: "I'm really proud of the team which continue to think creatively in their solutions, putting us at the forefront for our innovative marketing strategy. It's great for the team and also recognises the progress we have made over the last three years."
The University's marketing team was presented with their award by impressionist Jon Culshaw during the awards dinner at The Palace Hotel, Manchester.
