New director of services for students at Leeds Metropolitan
Having joined UEL in 2004 as Associate Director ofStudent Services, she went on to become Director of Student Experiencein 2010. Alison's previous roles have included Head of the LearningSupport Unit at London South Bank University and Course Director forAccess to Health Studies at City and Islington College.
Alison said: "I'm delighted to be joining Leeds Metropolitanat such an exciting time. I'm committed to improving the experiences ofour students and look forward to working with both colleagues andstudents to build on the excellent work already in progress".

Alison, who joins Leeds Met on 13 February, is a Fellow ofthe Higher Education Academy (HEA) and was formerly an externalmoderator for the London Open College Network. She is a SpecificLearning Difficulties assessor and tutor, an Institute of Leadership andManagement (ILM) Coach and an MBTI Practitioner.
