From our purpose-built biomedical sciences lab to our clinical simulation room, all of our spaces are designed to allow our community to hone their skills, test new theories, and work together.
Our modern science laboratories ensure that our work isn't just theoretical. You'll be able to master your laboratory skills and use specialist equipment. Our laboratories include a large Cat 2 microbiology facility, two cell culture suites, and dedicated research laboratories.
In our labs, you'll be able to practice and perfect the process of food inspection. You'll also develop a more practical understanding of dietary composition, and the factors that go into better nutrition.

Ward 1 mimics a hospital ward and includes hospital beds and equipment for students to gain an authentic learning experience.

Hone your skills in a dedicated clinical space, featuring a state-of-the-art patient simulator. You'll also be able to replicate the acute care environment with a critical care profiling bed, authentic lighting, viewing and control rooms, and an emergency call system.
Our practice room enables you to improve your physical therapy skills in a safe environment. Develop hands-on expertise in electrotherapy, massage, and heat therapy, as well as cardiovascular and respiratory testing.
Perfect your people skills, with a space dedicated to research and surveys. Housed in our clinical skills suite, you'll be able to interview participants and practice how to gather the necessary information from research subjects.
Patient care requires the human touch. Our informal consulting rooms enable you to practice interviewing and interacting with patients and clients, and receive the feedback and support you need. Rooms are equipped with full audio and video recording enabling you to capture and then review your practice.
We've developed the most cutting-edge acoustic facility in the region, complete with up-to-date measuring equipment, a reverberation room, an anechoic chamber and audiometry booth.
