Amy Brandreth

Senior Lecturer

Amy is a Senior Lecturer in Health and Safety, a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and a Graduate member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health. Previously, Amy was a part time Lecturer in Business, particularly Human Resources.

Her research interests lie in fatigue as a factor in safety and she is currently undertaking a PhD in this area.

Research Interests

Amy is studying for a PhD at Glasgow Caledonian University, looking at the effects of fatigue on safety in the construction industry. It is hoped that this research will lead to development of policies and procedures to improve safety.
