Caroline’s professional experience included working for international law firms Simmons & Simmons and Eversheds. She specialised in commercial litigation and carried out a range of general contentious work, which included tortious and contractual claims, claims for rectification and breach of warranty, professional negligence, consumer and commercial disputes, as well as shareholder and partnership-related litigation.

Caroline currently teaches our undergraduate and postgraduate students, using her experience to help prepare them for life in legal practice. These include the legal areas of contract law, trust law and tort law as well as vocational subjects like writing skills and practical legal research. Caroline is the Level 6 year tutor and is currently completing a postgraduate certificate in academic practice which will see her become a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
