Stephanie Jameson is our School Erasmus tutor and supports our Erasmus partnerships and incoming and outgoing students and staff. She recently visited one of our partners, University College Northern Denmark, in Aalborg, Denmark.

Stephanie participated in UCN’s ‘Employability week’ and gave a lecture to hospitality students on ‘The UK Hospitality industry’ and employment opportunities after Brexit. Half of the students were Danish, and the other half were from Europe, mainly Eastern Europe.

She also delivered two research seminars to staff. One on ‘Challenges in UK Hospitality Management Education’ – based on research done with Dr. Peter Lugosi on behalf of the Higher Education Academy. The second seminar was based on her research on hospitality students’ perceptions of careers in the hospitality industry.

Stephanie was also invited to be part of a session on entrepreneurship for students intending to start their own businesses.

Stephanie Jameson has recently been awarded Principal Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (now known as Advance HE). Principal Fellowship is awarded to individuals who are highly experienced professionals who have provided a sustained and effective record of impact at a strategic level in relation to teaching and learning within and beyond their own institution.

Stephanie joins Dr. Peter Robinson as our other Principal Fellow in our School.
