International Arrival Guide
Welcome to the Leeds Beckett community
We are delighted that you will be joining us at Leeds Beckett University. From before you leave your home country to your first few weeks in Leeds, you will have access to our full range of support so you can start focusing on your studies.
Once you join us you will be part of our Global Village. Our Global Village is made up of students and staff who are here to help you settle into life in Leeds and make new friends.
This guide provides information to help you prepare to travel to the UK. It also explains what to do when you arrive at Leeds Beckett.
This year we have an exciting schedule of International Welcome Events being held in-person and online. The in-person events will include campus tours, city tours and a welcome party, while the online events will allow you to meet a Global Buddy and get to know other international students! We are confident that you will have an enjoyable and rewarding time with us and create memories that you will treasure for life. If you have any questions about starting your course at Leeds Beckett University, please get in touch with us. On behalf of everyone at our university, we would like to take this opportunity to extend a warm welcome and wish you a safe journey.
