On Tuesday, 3rd May we had our online Psychological Therapies and Mental Health research conference with presentations from Paul Nicholson, myself, Professor Claire Surr, and three students presenting their research from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

We have an ongoing collaborative relationship with the Chicago School, including staff visits to our respective institutions and online delivery of sessions at our respective mental health-themed conferences. So throughout this conference, we continued to deepen our partnership. The three students Chelsey Stull, Carilyn Pasierb, and Johanna Guz-Montgomery fed back on how much they'd enjoyed the opportunity to present to a UK audience. The event was well attended by representatives of therapists, supervisors, and placements from our practice network, with over 60 attendees.

After each presentation, there was a question and answer session and discussion on the topic presented which meant that UK- and US-based attendees could dialogue and share ideas.

These were also shared with students involved in our partnership with the College of Allied Educators in Singapore, bringing three continents together for the event.
