Advances in Patient Reported Outcomes: Integration and Innovation

The PROMS conference welcomed clinicians, researchers, academics, patient partners, students, early career researchers and others working or interested in the field. We had oral, poster and rapid reporting sessions on Innovative public and patient involvement, diversity, self-management, clinical practice, ePROM and cutting edge methods, challenges of PROM collaboration, and the role of pilot studies.

We were pleased to welcome our Plenary Speakers:

• Roger Wilson CBE Patient advocate 'Understanding Value',
• Professor Stephen Radley, Sheffield Teaching Hospitals and University of Sheffield, ‘Web-based PROMs in practice; from Women’s Health to Pre-Operative Assessment’.
• Our Workshop Lead Professor Galina Velikova (Patient Centered Outcome Research: University of Leeds) chaired a workshop 'ePROMs feedback to clinicians challenges and solutions' along with Dr Mairead Murphy (Centre for Academic Primary Care- Bristol) and Dr Kerry Avery & Dr Carmen Tsang (University of Bristol).

The conference was endorsed by the International Society for Quality of Life Research (ISOQOL) and generously supported by the Yorkshire & Humber, West, East of England and Oxford NIHR Collaborations for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care (CLAHRCs) & SpringerOpen.
