Sport is a global, fast-moving industry where brands, clubs, and organisations compete for attention, loyalty, and commercial success.

On this BA Sport Marketing degree, you'll explore how sport is marketed in a disruptive digital world – from fan engagement and sponsorship to media, branding, and data-driven campaigns. You'll study both the marketing of sport and the use of sport in wider commercial marketing, developing a clear understanding of how the industry operates.

Through practical projects, live briefs, and industry-informed learning, you'll build skills in content creation, digital marketing, consumer insight, and campaign development. You'll also learn to use industry tools and platforms to analyse audiences, measure engagement, and understand what drives fan behaviour.

As part of this sport marketing course, you'll:

  • Explore branding, sponsorship, broadcasting, and the commercial side of sport
  • Study emerging trends, including AI, esports, sustainability, and diversity in sport
  • Learn to analyse data and consumer insights to make informed marketing decisions and optimise future campaigns
  • Begin working like a marketing professional by tackling authentic industry briefs, pitches, and collaborative projects
  • Build transferable skills in communication, commercial awareness, negotiation, and problem-solving

By graduation, you'll be ready to create powerful campaigns, engage audiences, build brands, and drive growth across the global sport industry and beyond.
