Suitable for Healthcare practitioners who hold a professional registration with a regulatory body such as the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) who would like to develop and enhance their theoretical knowledge and practical skills when managing complex, hard to heal wounds.

This module is designed for practitioners registered with a regulatory body such as the Nursing and Midwifery Council or the Health and Care Professions Council. They will be confident and competent in wound care management, have suitable educational experience and wish to expand their scope of practice in the care and management of complex wounds that require sharp debridement.
The module critically examines the evidence based for advanced wound management and extended sharp debridement scope practice, supporting learners to critically apply the evidence-based principles to clinical practice.
