Every major business decision has an economic story behind it. Why do companies expand into new markets? What causes inflation, financial crises, or global supply chain disruption? How do governments balance growth, sustainability, and economic stability?
This integrated master’s degree in economics and global markets combines undergraduate study with master’s-level learning and practical experience, enabling you to graduate with a postgraduate qualification in one continuous course.
You'll explore how economics explains the world's biggest challenges while developing the analytical skills to understand and influence decision-making across businesses, governments, and international markets. You'll also investigate how trade, competition, financial systems, strategies, and policy shape industries in an increasingly interconnected world.

Therefore, when assessing your application, we will consider the following:

To further strengthen our position as a key provider of education and training for West Yorkshire we apply an Anchor Institution Policy in our admissions process. Students who apply to us from any of the five Local Authority areas in West Yorkshire (BD, HD, HX, LS, WF) may be offered a place on this course with lower (predicted or achieved) UCAS Tariff Points.Mature Applicants
