Our £1m clinical skills suite is packed with modern equipment that gives you hands-on practical experience, and our biomedical and environmental laboratories provide state-of-the-art scientific equipment.

Our clinical skills suite is a modern multidisciplinary space which students from a range of courses, including Nursing, Sport and Exercise Therapy, and Physiotherapy can access. Ward 1 mimics a hospital ward and includes hospital beds and equipment for students to gain an authentic learning experience.

Our community suite features a kitchen, living space, bathroom, bed and other adapted equipment to allow hands-on training, allowing students to become accustomed to a real clinical care environment.

Our purpose-built community living area features a kitchen, living space, bathroom, bed and a wide range of adapted equipment to enable users to simulate real life scenarios and gain hands on experience.

Our simulation room has a dedicated clinical space, viewing and control rooms, featuring a high-fidelity patient simulator, a critical-care profiling bed, theatre lighting and an emergency call system.

Our dedicated practice rooms provide hands on learning in electrotherapy, massage, heat therapy and cardio vascular and respiratory testing.

Leslie Silver is home to three lecture theatres and eight high-spec computer training rooms. It's also where you'll find our Sheila Silver Library, providing students and staff an effective and inspiring learning environment, as well as a range of support and resources to support your studies.

Our Woodhouse Gym is located directly above The Hive within the Students' Union. The gym offers a range of cardio equipment, free weights, machines and squat racks.
