Everything you need to know about the Graduate Outcomes survey

Everything you need to know about the Graduate Outcomes survey

  1. What is the Graduate Outcomes survey?

The Graduate Outcomes survey is the biggest annual survey in the UK. Your responses, together with those of all other graduates who completed a higher education qualification in the last 15 months, will directly impact the future of education for prospective students.

You’ll also be helping us understand the choices that you’ve made since you finished your course and how this reflects the skills you developed whilst in education.

  2. Who will contact me?

You will be contacted by an organisation called JISC who undertake the Graduate Outcomes Survey on behalf of every higher education provider in the UK.

  3. How will I be contacted?

You will be contacted by email, phone and SMS to complete the survey. Emails will come from leedsbeckett@graduateoucomes.ac.uk, SMS from 'Grad Outcomes' and phone calls from a local number. These are legitimate approaches from JISC, so please do respond to them.

  4. What will I be asked?

The survey will ask you about what you’re doing 15 months after you left university. It will also ask some subjective questions about how you feel about your current situation and general wellbeing.
  5. Why should I complete the survey?

This survey is unique because it picks up with you more than a year after you finished your studies. This allows you to reflect on the value your studies have played in your current activities, how this compares to your original plans and how you’re using skills you’ve picked up whilst in education. Only you will know if you left education with the skills and knowledge you needed to get you to where you are now.
