China Entry Requirements

 

You can find information below containing the minimum qualifications you will require. This varies depending on whether you want to study an undergraduate or postgraduate degree. Entry requirements do also vary for each course, but the information here will give you a general guide.

As well as your academic qualifications we will also consider your personal statement and references. If you are studying A Levels or the International Baccalaureate, you can find these entry requirements on the course pages in our Online Prospectus.

China Entry Requirements

Qualification: Senior Secondary School Year 3 (Grade 12)

Grade: 60%

OR

Qualification: Senior Secondary School Year 2 (Grade 11) 

Grade: 70%

English language: IELTS 4.5 with no skill below 4.5

Qualification: Chinese University / College Entrance Examination ('Gaokao')

Grade: 55% to 70%

OR

Qualification: Senior High School Grade Certificate

Grade: 70%

OR

Qualification: First year of a Bachelor Degree or a recognised Foundation programme

Grade: Pass

English language qualification: IELTS 6.0 with no skill below 5.5

Qualification: 3 Year Diploma or HND

Grade: Pass 

English language qualification: IELTS 6.0 with no skill below 5.5

Qualification: Bachelor Degree

Grade: 60% for 2:2 OR 65% for 2:1

English language requirements: IELTS 6.0 with no skill below 5.5
